Position: Information Management Officer
Location: Amman
Reports to: Senior Information, Monitoring and Evaluation officer
Summary: Your role would be to support Midair’s information management processes. You will be expected to use your IM experience and technical capabilities to process, build on and improve data management processes for a variety of sectors, including health, cash assistance, and M&E activities. On a day-to-day basis, you would be involved in a wide variety of activities involving computer programming, database management, report creation and monitoring and evaluation. Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop the database of Medair Health beneficiaries, updating information as it is given for ongoing assessments and projects with updated information from field staff, and keep the health database up-to-date.
Prepare household visit lists from cases referred for cash for health internally and externally
Produce and maintain ODK survey forms used for household surveys by field staff
Provide inputs for monthly, quarterly, annual and other reports to Projects Management Unit.
Manage and support other program staff to manage data analysis.
Design and publish reports in a clear and informative format from multiple database sources ensuring data integrity.
Create new tools and survey systems as required.
Ensure knowledge retention by providing comments and accompanying documentation for all dashboards and coding
Suggest and implement improvements to current systems.
Contributing to the NGO community through data analytics workshops with other NGOs and country programs.
Appropriate IM standards, data security and integrate lessons learned into the projects
Ensure that all work is published through a formal approval process
Vocational qualification we need Vocational qualification required:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject or equivalent professional / technical qualification

University degree in Computer Programming, Database Management, Systems & Computing
Work experience required
Relevant professional experience working in an IM role with an international NGO (1-2 years)
Experience with analytics, mapping, and data collection technology.

Previous NGO experience (2+ yrs)
Experience in computer programming
Languages Required
Good English (spoken and written)
Excellent Arabic (spoken and written)

IT Required
Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Problem solving ability.
Aptitude, willingness and ability to learn programming, data analysis and data management packages that are not familiar
