Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Assistant will support the M&E team at the center region level.
Essential Duties:Main purpose of job (List primary duties that occupy a majority of incumbent time in order of importance)
Support the M&E processes particularly under the daily management of the M&E coordinator and under the overall supervision of M&E senior technical specialist. The data manager will lead the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation work at the field offices levels.
This mission will be fulfilled through the following responsibilities and tasks:
Follow and promote timely and accurate data archiving, keep close constant contact and collaboration with the targeted teachers, field and central departmental actors included in the implementation plan. Support the organization and the implementation of the activities of strengthening of the capacities of the actors in collection, management, and control of the quality of the data.Support the maintenance of the database under the overall management of the M&E coordinator.Attend the M&E weekly meeting at center office, and work closely with M&E team to deliver all tasks under the M&E workplan.Support the production and distribution of periodical M&E learning reports as well as special reports at field level as needed.Lead and support the data collection processes at the field level.
Minimum Required Education & Experience
Job Requirements are a combination of qualifications and related experience. Judgment of an acceptable equivalent combination, on an individual basis, is the responsibility of Management
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related is preferred) and 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience – Background of working in Education project is preferred.

The position is located at field office (North, Center, South) with ability to travel to Amman office for 30% of the time.Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, ExcelAbility to multi-task, work over weekend during emergencies.Ability to listen and communicate well both verbally and in writingAbility to work independently, with passion to learn and developAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to obtain proper security clearances as noted by contractsAbility to troubleshoot data collection tools software,Working knowledge of tablet-based surveys. PHP or My SQL proficiency is desired.
Physical/Mental Demands
Physical and mental demands of this role include those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, as outlined above. Examples include: remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time; operating a computer and other office machinery; thinking, learning, and concentrating effectively and frequently communicating with other people, both within RTI and outside of RTI; frequently moving about inside and travel between offices and laboratories; frequently conducting laboratory site inspections(if applicable), ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines, ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as workload and deadlines may require, ability to have regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
